As festivities for Pride Month are getting across the globe, US Vice President Kamala Harris participated in a LBGTQ+ people group walk on Saturday. She was seen with her better half Doug Emhoff reciting “glad pride” with the group at Washington DC. Aside from the inspiring second, what was likewise critical was her decision of attire. The VP was found in a white shirt that had the words “love will be love” imprinted on it. She joined this with a pink jacket for the Capital Pride Walk and Rally for about a square.
Doug Emhoff, as well, was dressed according to event, his white shirt printed with messages on the significance of affection.
After the march, she called for the passage of the Equality Act. She also stated that the Biden administration is fully aware of the importance of advancing LGBTQ+ rights. “We need to make sure that our transgender community and our youth are all protected. We need, still, protections around employment and housing,” Harris said, as per a report in NBC. “There is so much more work to do, and I know we are committed,” she said.
